Clas Ohlson has built a reputation of being the one-stop shop for grownups. Electrical gadgets, home appliances, hardware — you name it, they have it. But it was clear that the younger audience wasn’t coming along for the ride. At least not willingly.
In an effort to spark interest from the whole family, we brought the concept #MakeandPlay to life. Its purpose was to activate kids beyond their smartphones — and show them that with a bit of imagination, fun can be made out of practically anything; even boring things like tarpaulins, lights, and glue.
The Youtube ads were followed by a set of short films on the website, providing step-by-step instructions for how to create fun toys out of seemingly dull hardware products..
